Yogi Government has given great relief to lakhs of candidates by cancelling UP Police Constable Recruitment. After the claims of paper leak, lakhs of candidates were demanding to cancel the exam and conduct it again. Apart from cancelling the exam, the state government has also ordered to conduct the exam again within 6 months. CM Yogi said that strictest action will be taken against those who play with the hard work of youth and the sanctity of examinations.
Giving information about the decision, CM Yogi tweeted, ‘Orders have been given to cancel the examination-2023 conducted for selection to the posts of Reserve Civil Police and conduct the examination again within the next 06 months. There can be no compromise on the integrity of the examinations. Those who play with the hard work of young people should not be spared under any circumstances.’
The notice issued by the state government states, After consideration, this examination is being conducted by the government based on examination of the data and information received regarding the police recruitment examination held on 17 and 18 February 2024. Highest standards of cleanliness and transparency. The decision to cancel has been taken. The government has directed the Recruitment Board to ensure advance legal action by registering an FIR in case of negligence at any level.
STF will investigate the Paper Leak
Yogi government will hand over the responsibility of investigating the UP Police Constable Recruitment Paper Leak case to the Special Test Force (STF). Instructions have been given to take the harshest action against the culprits. Also, the government has directed the recruitment board to register an FIR and take appropriate action in case of negligence at any level.
A Good News came due to the Cancellation of Exams
After cancelling the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination after the paper leak, the Yogi government has taken another big decision in the interest of the candidates. Yogi government has ordered that there will be facility-free travel in Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation for all the candidates in UP Police Constable Recruitment Re-Examination. During the examination, they will be able to travel for free in roadway buses by showing the admit card. They will not be charged any fee. Orders have been given to re-conduct the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam in six months.
Information About the Cancellation of the UP Police exam
A notice has also been issued by the Uttar Pradesh government regarding the cancellation of the police recruitment examination. It said that based on an investigation of information received regarding the UP Police Recruitment Examination held on 17 and 18 February, the government has decided to cancel it. Also, the Recruitment Board UPPRPB has been instructed to take action by registering an FIR as soon as possible in case of negligence at any level. It has also been decided to get the matter investigated by STF.
Recruitment Examination was conducted amidst Tight Security
The state government had made many security arrangements regarding the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination, yet the fraudsters were successful in breaking in. Small jammers were installed at all the examination centers so that no electronic device could work there due to the jammer. CCTV and CCTV control rooms were made inside all the examination centres, the photograph of the candidate was matched with the retina of his eyes and biometrics were also matched. Only after this, the candidates were given entry into the examination centres.
