Objective of the PMUY Scheme

Main Points of the PMUY Scheme
- Free LPG connections are provided to women from BPL families.
- Each beneficiary is given financial assistance of тВ╣1600, which can be used to purchase a gas stove and other essential items.
- Beneficiaries are given 3 LPG cylinders of 14.2 kg each at a subsidized rate for a year.
- To get the gas connection the beneficiaries have to fill out the application form along with the required documents.

- The Bank account should be linked to the Aadhar card. The age of the applicant must be 18 years or more.
