Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Yojana is an initiative launched by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to provide free education to the children of construction workers employed in the informal sector. Under this scheme, two children aged 6 to 16 years of registered workers are provided free residential education in dedicated schools.
UP Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Yojana is a scheme that provides free education to the poor children of construction workers in Uttar Pradesh. Eligibility
- Destitute children during the Corona period, who have been identified by the Women Welfare Department, Lucknow.
- Children (general) are eligible for Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana.
- Orphan children and children of duly registered construction workers, who have completed a membership period of at least 01 year (365 days) of the Board after registration.
- Only a maximum of 02 children per registered worker can avail of educational benefits.
Application Process
- The applicant has to visit the following offices:
- Nearest Labor Office
- Tehsildar of the concerned tehsil
- Block Development Officer of the concerned development block
- Obtain the application form and fill it out completely.
- Attach the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Submit the application form in the same office.

- Child’s Birth Certificate
- Previous Class Marksheet
- Medical Certificate (if required)
- Passport Size Photo.
