The students belonging to the ST category who have been admitted to IIT, NIT, NLU, MBBS (Government Colleges of Madhya Pradesh), AIIMS or NDA by clearing any National Competitive Examination (JEE, NEET, CLAT, AIIMS, NDA) are eligible to avail the benefits of Pratibha Yojana.

Eligibility Criteria
- This scheme is only for students belonging to the ST category.
- The applicant must be a native of Madhya Pradesh/Delhi.
- The annual family income of the applicant must be at least Rs.6 lakhs.
- The applicant must have been admitted in the following colleges:-
- IIT/NIT Institutes through JEE
- Government Colleges of Madhya Pradesh (NEET- MBBS only)
- AIIMS
- NLU (CLAT)
- NDA (UPSC)
Prerequisites
- The applicant must be registered on the portal.
- The Aadhaar of the applicant must be linked to the bank account. The applicant must have the admission receipt from the institute.
Procedure
- Applicants apply for Pratibha Yojana after admission to the institute.
- The admission of the candidates is confirmed by the admitting institute.
- The officials will verify the application and admission.
- The incentive amount will be paid in the bank account linked to Aadhaar.
- The current status information will be sent to the applicant through email and SMS.
Application Process
- Go to the Tribal Affairs Department website https://www.tribal.mp.gov.in.
- Click on “Online Services”.
- First login to the existing tribal website using your User ID and Password (which you got on proof registration).
- If the beneficiary is not registered for the profile, first do the profile registration and then log in using the email ID entered in the profile and the User ID and Password received on mobile SMS.
- After login, select Pratibha Yojana menu on the user dashboard.
- If you are applying for the first time then select the ‘Apply’ menu, and if you have applied earlier and want to know the status of the submitted application then select the ‘Application Status’ menu.
- After selecting the application menu you will be shown ‘Important Instructions’ which you should read and then click on the ‘Apply’ button. On selecting the “Apply” menu, a form is displayed to enter the educational information. Enter the following information in it and click on the Check Eligibility button.
- Name of the exam/institute
- Year of counseling
- Roll number
- After clicking on the Apply button, if the information is correct then you will get the message “Roll number is correct”.
- If the information is not correct then you will get the message “Roll number is not valid for the child who has been admitted”.
- If the information is correct then you will get the message “Roll number is correct”. Now click on the OK button and proceed.
- After this, copy the information given below. After filling in all this information, click on the “Submit” button.
- Child getting admission
- Admission receipt number
- Date of admission
- After clicking on the Submit button, you will be shown a message to confirm whether the information has been submitted correctly or not. After reading the message, click on the OK button.
- After clicking on the OK button, you will be shown the details of your application which you can print or save in PDF format.
Check Application Status
- If you have already applied and want to know the status of your submitted application, then select the ‘Application Status’ menu.
- After clicking on ‘Application Date’ you will be shown the details of your application, click on the application number for details.
- After clicking on the application number you will be shown the details of your application which you can print or save in PDF format.
Pratibha Yojana: Various Scholarship Schemes Revealed
“Pratibha Yojana” can refer to various scholarship programs offered by several Indian states. Let’s take a look at two possibilities:
1. Scholarship for Entrance Exams (Madhya Pradesh):
- This scheme, implemented by the Madhya Pradesh government, provides financial assistance to students who qualify for competitive entrance exams such as JEE (engineering), NEET (medicine) and CLAT (law).
- It covers students whose family’s annual income is less than ₹3,00,000.
- Selected students receive an incentive of ₹50,000. This amount is reduced to ₹25,000 for students from families above the income limit.
- To apply, students must submit their application along with supporting documents through the MPTASS Portal (Madhya Pradesh Treasury Accounting System).
2. Scholarship for Higher Education in Delhi (GNCT of Delhi):
- This scheme called “Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Yojana” is offered by the Delhi government.
- It offers scholarships to students studying from classes 9th to 12th to help them manage their educational expenses.
- The scholarship amount varies based on the class level:
- ₹5,000 per year for class 9th and 10th students.
- ₹10,000 per year for class 11th and 12th students.
- The eligibility criteria include:
- Being a resident of Delhi (GNCT of Delhi).
- Obtaining a minimum aggregate marks in the previous year’s examinations (50% for classes 9th and 10th, 60% for classes 11th and 12th).
- Meeting the annual family income limit (₹8 lakh, with exceptions for SC/ST/OBC categories with more than 75% marks).
