The candidate must qualify for all three stages (Prelims, Mains and Interview) with the minimum cut-off marks decided by the authorities. Selection Criteria for Main Examination: Category-wise merit list will be prepared based on total marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination. There will be no sectional cut-off. Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies (approximately) in each category will be shortlisted for the Main Examination from the top of the above merit list.

Interview Process
A candidate who qualifies for both the preliminary and main examination of SBI PO 2023 will be called for an interview by the panel of selectors based on his previous experience and questions related to General Knowledge and Banking. First of all, candidates have to register themselves on the official website of the exam. Candidates should follow the steps mentioned below:

- Step 2: See the notification displaying the new registration. Click on it.
- Step 3: Fill in all the required details in the registration form like name, father’s name, date of birth, contact number, email ID, etc.
- Step 4: Click on Submit and note down the system-generated Registration ID and Password.

In the next step, candidates have to fill out the application form for SBI PO with the help of the following steps:
- Step 1: Log in to the official website of SBI PO with your registration ID and password.
- Step 2: Fill in all the required information in the application form like educational details, preference for examination centres etc.
