The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CGL recruitment notification on its official portal. Enthusiastic and eligible candidates are invited to apply for the Combined Graduate Level Exam 2024 from June 24 to July 24. However, the last date to submit the application fee is July 25. The application correction window will be available on August 10 and 11.
As per the notification, a total of 17,727 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. SSC CGL is a nationwide exam conducted to recruit individuals for various Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts such as Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Inspector (Examiner), Sub Inspector, Assistant Section Officer and others.

SSC CGL 2024 Notification Released
The SSC CGL Notification 2024 PDF for 17,727 vacancies has been published on the official website ssc.gov.in. Graduates in the age group of 18 to 32 years are eligible to submit their application forms by July 24. However, the last date to pay the application fee is July 25. The selection process for the candidates will depend on their cumulative performance in Tier 1 and Tier 2. Tier 1 will serve as a qualifying stage.
SSC CGL 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To successfully submit the SSC CGL application form, candidates must meet the prescribed educational qualification and age limit criteria.
Educational Qualification:
Applicants must have a graduate degree in any discipline. However, candidates interested in Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer posts must possess a graduation degree with qualifications such as CA/CS/MBA/Cost and Management Accountant/Masters in Commerce/Masters in Professional Studies. For the Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) post, a graduation degree with a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics in class 12th from a recognized institute is required.
Age Limit:
The age limit varies according to the categories and posts. Nevertheless, the standard SSC CGL age limit is 18 to 32 years, age relaxation is admissible for candidates from reserved categories.

- If you are a new user, register by providing the required information including a valid email ID and phone number.
- Log in to your account using the user ID and password received on your registered email ID.
- Fill out the SSC CGL application form correctly.
- Upload the required documents in the specified format and size. Make sure the photo is in JPEG format with a size between 20 KB and 50 KB. Similarly, the size of the SSC CGL signature should be between 10 KB to 20 KB.
- Pay the application fee as per your category.
- Submit the form and download the SSC CGL 2024 online form for your records.
