Uttar Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Yojana aims to address the skill gap faced by construction workers registered with the Board, by providing them with the necessary training opportunities for competency development and technological advancement. Currently, construction workers are dependent only on on-the-job experience due to a lack of formal technical training caused by institutional limitations. This hinders their ability to earn fair wages and access better services. Taking into account the financial constraints that often prevent workers and their families from undertaking formal training, this scheme provides reimbursement of both training costs and lost wages. By bridging this financial gap, this initiative empowers individuals to enhance their skills and career prospects.
