UPSC CAPF AC 2024 Vacancy Details
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced a total of 506 vacancies for Assistant Commandants (Group A) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The CAPFs include the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). How to apply for UPSC CAPF 2024?
Candidates can fill out their UPSC CAPF (AC) 2024 application form by the simple steps mentioned below and follow the instructions.
- Candidates have to log in to the UPSC Official website.
- Find the link ‘UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant 2024’ and click on it.
- Fill the required details correctly in the required sections and submit your details
- Pay the application fee if applicable
- Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- Download your CAPF (Assistant Commandant) application form and take a printout of it for future reference.
UPSC CAPF AC Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be as follows;
- Written Examination: First of all, they have to appear in a written examination which will be conducted in two papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II. This test covers the general ability and intelligence of the candidate.
- Physical Efficiency Test: This test consists of physical and medical standard tests. The programs involved in these stages will be different for male and female candidates.
- Personality Test/Interview: Candidates who qualify for the Medical Standard Test will be called for a Personality Test or Interview which will carry 150 marks. The Commission will issue a Detailed Application Form (DAF) to the shortlisted candidates after qualifying the personality test or interview.
- Final Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained by the candidates in written tests and personality tests or interviews.
