Recently, the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry hosted the felicitation function for the Logistics Excellence, Advancement, and Performance Shield (LEAPS) Awards 2024. 

About LEAPS Awards

• LEAPS Awards is an initiative that recognizes and celebrates exceptional contributions and innovations in the logistics ecosystem. 
• The Awards are a flagship initiative by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. 
• In line with the National Logistics Policy 2022, it aims to create a new benchmark in India, as well as globally by highlighting the best practices and innovative solutions that are shaping the future of logistics. 
• It aspires to foster innovation and raise awareness about sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices, and Green Logistics while promoting collaboration between the government, industry, and academia to drive progress and efficiency.
